Originally from Haiti, Astryd Roy now resides in Miami. The jewelry she designs and makes has been exhibited throughout the United States, Mexico, and Italy and has been sold internationally for several years.

The materials that make up her works include coral, stones, and ox horn that she brings back from her travels in Haiti. She has also created a collection of exhibition-only works that capture the original jewelry of the Tainos, indigenous people of the island of Hispaniola who were decimated during the European conquest.

Each piece is unique, intentionally crafted from naturally occurring materials and throughout the process, handcrafted with mystical care and consideration to become more than just another piece of jewelry, but in its very essence, a living and spiritual art.
